International meeting of 2 CV friends 2009
Du 27 juillet au 2 août 2009 a eu lieu la 18e édition de la rencontre internationale des amis de la 2 CV. Cette année, c’était donc à Most en République Tchèque qu’environ 3 500 2 CV se sont réunies.
From july 27th to august 2nd of 2009, there was the 18th international meeting of 2 CV friends. This edition was in Most in Czech Republic were around 3 500 2 CV met !
J’ai passé le plus clair de mon temps sur le stand de la revue Planète 2 CV et par conséquent je n’ai pas pris le temps d’aller à la pêche aux belles images… Mais je vous prépare un article sur la rencontre à retrouver dans le Planète 2 CV numéro 76 !
Most of the time I was on the Planète 2 CV stand in the market area so I didn’t have time to go make nice pics… But there will be an article about that great meeting in the Planète 2 CV 76 !
La star de la rencontre était sans aucun doute la 2 CV de Nico, un belge que l’on surnomme “Crazy Belgian”. On l’a voit ici lors de la petite rencontre SNAIL du samedi après-midi… Le secret de cette 2 CV c’est qu’en plus d’être chanellée, elle est équipée d’une suspension à air !
The most interesting car of the meeting was no doubt the Nico’s 2 CV. We usually call him “Crazy Belgian”. You can see his car at the SNAIL meeting on the saturday afternoon… This 2 CV has an air ride suspension and of course it’s channeled. Awesome !

La 2 CV d’Alex est sur une suspension plus classique bien que bien plus ferme qu’à l’origine ! Cette 2 CV est pour moi une des plus belles 2 CV custom de tous les temps…
Alex’2 CV is channeled and has a stiffer suspension. For me, it’s one of the best custom 2 CV ever…
Fred est venu à bord de mon ex-Dyane qu’il a récemment repeinte. Ca fait très très plaisir de la revoir…
